The world has many urgent issues — food insecurity, water shortages, extreme poverty. And in the age of COVID-19, the number of people who need a helping hand has only increased. Donating our time, energy, and possible resources can be just as rewarding for us as for those we are helping. We at Hoyl Financial believe it is our duty as a local business to support our community in every way possible. Whether it be packing snack bags or pulling weeds in the garden. Volunteering offers us the chance to give something back to the community and make a difference to the people around us.
This year’s focus is on the High Plains Food Bank, a local nonprofit working to alleviate hunger in the Texas panhandle. Our upcoming volunteer dates include February 23, April 13, June 15, August 17, and October 19 all from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
